About UsHere at "Good Sam" in Corvallis, Oregon, we're learning about Christianity a little differently. We're taking the learning into the homes. And from the homes back out into the neighborhoods putting our faith into action. Y'see, we think that folks learning about Jesus by being Jesussy, and that the home can be an extension of the learning that goes on in church. What we think about God shapes how we see the world. How we see the world shapes how we love those in it. We welcome creativity, beauty, questions, doubts, fledgings in faith and long-time believers. This website is a place to come to safely explore your faith through worship, outreach, arts, activities, discussion, and storytelling. It aims to engage the body, heart, mind and soul along the faith journey.

Our History |
The Episcopal Church is descended from the Church of England, and remains a part of the Anglican Communion. We are sometimes called people of the book because we are united by common prayer, rather than common belief or doctrine. Education has been a value of Christians since the beginning of Christianity. Learning the stories of our faith, and sharing those stories with others is one way we share God with the world. We, too, are part of that ongoing story.
